A Peek at Nashville Pussy at the Larimer Lounge Sat.

I was vaguely uncomfortable the first time I saw Nashville Pussy on stage:  Not because of the raucous sexuality of the lyrics and stage actions or even the sticky sweatiness of the increasingly tight crowd around me, but rather the strange sort of inbreeding family dynamic thing that seemed to be happening between the band themselves. 

It was like watching the family from Rob Zombie’s horror flick “House of 1000 Corpses” or “Devil’s Rejects.”

It took me a while, but I began to enjoy the crazy Southern hard-rock throw-back style show as much as I enjoy the flick:  For the sheer bizarre power they have to ROCK.

Nashville Pussy will be back to put some hard, Southern-tinged rock and roll into my soul this Saturday at the Larimer Lounge.
