Oasis continues to surprise fans

Noel Gallagher may be sober these days, but Oasis’s newest studio album, Dig Out Your Soul certainly isn’t lacking any mind altering elements. The album opens with the seemingly psychedelic “Bag it up.” Taking listeners on a journey through crashing symbols, haunting baselines, and eager chords, “Bag it up” is indicative of just how much growth this seasoned band has been through. Sometimes more popular for their off stage sibling rivalry and exuberant ego’s, Oasis is still proving that they have the staying power to propel  them into a new era of music.  On “High Horse,” Liam’s tone seems to skate effortlessly in tune with the songs anticipatory chords. You can hear each instrument including infectious clapping, individually and cohesively at the same time. Each of the eleven tracks on the album speaks in its own vernacular while keeping pace with came before and what will come after. Oasis continues to baffle out ears, tap our toes, and tug on all our heart strings. If you haven’t had the pleasure of giving it a listen, I urge you all to do yourselves a favor and take advantage of some of the most progressive sounds available today.

RMMB will keep you all posted on Oasis’s upcoming tour.
