Straylight Run In The Studio

Straylight Run’s Will Noon updates fans on their pre-production progress.

It’s hectic but going well. we just threw a new song into the mix yesterday… playing it for the first time, but its easily my favorite. I always worry about balancing playing what is right for the song vs playing something interesting. but luckily, in this song i get to do both, and i’m pushing myself…which is such a good feeling. so yea. another day of rehearsing then we’ll head to the studio with our good friend Bryan Russell.

Straylight run is pushing for a 2009 release date along with a national tour. RMMB will keep you posted on the progress.

FYI: When you sign up for the mailing list though their website you’re given a link to download SR’s cover of Nirvana’s ”Drain You.” John Nolans voice breaths a new perspective on the classic song. I Dig it!
